RIT Libraries Strategic Plan
Courseware Integration
The Library proposes to collaborate with other departments to increase awareness of library resources and services that can be integrated into campus courseware. The use of courseware on campus is increasing and many faculty are using it as a primary vehicle to provide course information to their students. Librarians will use their expertise to select relevant resources and tie them to course level pages, making them available to students for their specific assignments.
The integration of databases, full-text material, electronic course reserve readings, tutorials, and online consultations with librarians are all possible within courseware.
