The Cary Graphic Arts Collection
in the RIT Library contains examples of posters by the American
artist Edward Penfield, 1866-1925. The posters were created for Harper's
Magazine and date from 1896 to 1899.
In 1998 RIT Library received
funding from the Regional Bibliographic Databases and Interlibrary Resources
Sharing Program of the New York State Education Department to provide
access to the posters both textually and digitally.
