Reference Liaison Services -- Information for
R.I.T. Faculty

LIBRARY
CONTACT:

The Library Liaisons
are your first contact in the library for service or problems. They
keep their faculty current on new library books, journals, databases
and pertinent web-sites. They will also accept suggestions for new
library material.

CURRICULUM
ASSISTANCE:
|
As
the Subject Specialists, they can assist their faculty with new course
development and help with preparation of course assignments which require
library materials. |
|
|
ADMINISTRATIVE
HELP:
The Library Liaisons
prepare impact statements for new programs and write accreditation
support documentation. As Instructors, they will provide informational
sessions tailored for faculty and administrative groups (hands-on
workshops,informal coffee hours or visiting-librarian presentations).

|
|
Our Subject Specialists
provide general help with navigating the Internet or other research
resources. They are also able to assist you with developing research
strategies for your projects or publications.
