SPECIFIC SUPPORT SESSIONS:

Subject Specialists
will conduct formal learning sessions with your class. Sessions are geared
specifically to support your curriculum. They can include Internet searching,
electronic products, appropriate library print resources or information
literacy integration.

INTRODUCTION
TO BASIC LIBRARY SKILLS:
|
Library
Liaisons will provide new users with a basic introduction to research
skills and RIT Library's resources (we offer scavenger hunts, formal
group sessions, on-line tutorials and how to guides).
|
ELECTRONIC
PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS:
Library Liaisons will provide an introduction to specific web-based
or cd-rom databases in a hands-on learning environment.
RIT Library also co-sponsors an ongoing series of prescheduled workshops.

ONE
ON ONE: Subject Specialists will work with you to tailor your class assignments
to library resources or to personally assist you with using the library's
array of databases, print resources, services or Internet search engines.
GROUPS:
Library Liaisons will provide informational programs to administrative
and faculty groups (hands on presentations, Coffee Hours or Visiting Librarians).
