Online Reference Assistance

    Need to speak with a librarian? Use our real time reference service to live chat with a reference librarian.

  • ASK - Electronic Reference Service (for RIT use only)

    Submit quick, general-type reference questionselectronically to the Library's reference staff. You will receive an answer to your question within 24 hours.

  • "Schedule Individual Research Help" Form

    Have a paper or a research project to do and you don't know where to start? There is someone who can help you--your Reference Librarian. New or experienced users can benefit from their assistance with research skills and how to use the library and web resources specific to your major/discipline.

The Reference Desk -- stop by or phone us

The Reference desk is located on the first floor to the right of the library's main entrance. This is the central focal point of the Reference department and the place to ask research questions or questions concerning the use of library resources.

Personal assistance is available at the Reference desk for scheduled hours during the normal quarter schedule. Hours may vary during breaks, holidays & summer quarter.
