Interpreter Practice Materials: These materials mirror the types of interactions in which interpreters work: one-to-one interactions, small group discussions, and lectures before a large group. The speakers are both Deaf and hearing presenters. The lectures were taped before a live audience. They use topics and speakers drawn from actual interpreted situations. The camera angles used capture the interpreter’s perspective for each lecture.

Deaf Presenter Lectures: Formatted for consecutive interpretation practice, the lecture has been divided into logical syntactic and semantic segments. The allowable processing time is always equivalent to the length of the chunked segment. Each segment ends with a count-down so that it is always clear when the next segment will begin.
