Computing at RIT Library
Logging on to Library Workstations
In an effort to improve computing security on campus an RIT user
account is required in order to use public workstations -- including
the library computers.
If you are an RIT student, faculty or staff and you have not changed
your RIT user account (formerly called a DCE account) since July
9, 2003 please visit the ITS Password
Changing page to activate your account. Once your password
has been updated you will be able to log in to library workstations
(as well as campus computer lab workstations).
Assistance is available at the
ITS Help Desk and from the library Reference Desk (475-2563).
RIT alumni and guests wishing to use library workstations can obtain
a temporary username and password from the Reference Desk. These
accounts are valid in the library only.
