Festina Lente: The Journal of the Melbert B. Cary, Jr. Graphic Arts Collection

Herbert H. Johnson, editor

An experimental journal on the history of printing, Festina Lente was a collaborative effort of RIT faculty and students. Two articles of note appear in this second and final volume—"Pinmarks, Nicks, and Grooves: Some Notes on the History of American Typefounding" by David Lasko and "32 Unrecorded Books Designed by Bruce Rogers While at the Riverside Press" by Herbet H. Johnson. The journal is liberally illustrated and beautifully typeset in Garamond. Please note: some fading has occurred to the paper covers.
